Side by Side
This posture looks a bit difficult to accomplish in exactly this form with actual human bodies - but it suggests an interesting variation of side by side waltz. The feet suggest that this is a Sauteuse, but you could just as well do this in a slow waltz.
A stylistic note: even though they are side by side, they still have eye contact. This is also commonly seen in country dancing in figures where the couples "lead down the middle".
