Places to Dance in Southern California in the Jazz Age
I am fond of observing that in the Jazz Age, everyone danced - but of course, that begs the question of "where"?
I hope to address this by documenting as many dance venues as I can. I am limiting this to my home turf of Southern California, but I think what I find here could be indicative of pretty much anywhere in the United States, with similar results in Europe, Latin America and even in Asia and Africa.
In terms of the numbers of dancers and the places to dance, it was a golden age.
