Building Models of Civil War Ironclads

Steve Lund, a good friend of mine, has recently finished a book on how to build models of Civil War ironclads. These aren't just sit-on-the-shelf models, but rather radio controlled ironclads which steam up and down your local pond blazing away at agitated ducks or other model boats with their clever little electrical cannons.

To make this book more readily available, Steve has asked me to put it up on the web where all the world may see it, build ferocious model Monitors, and annoy waterfowl from Dunnydoo to Dorking.

Steve & Bill, really great write up on constructing ironclads.

thanks,
Ken

What a great book & thanks for forwarding my email to Steve & Bill.

Soon a monitor flying the Stars & Stripes (along with an ironclad under the Stars & Bars) will once again be sailing Chinese waters for the first time in 90 years since USS Monterey last departed Shanghai.

Regards,

Chuck
