We're enjoying an end-of-summer evening in a very large, very memorably landscaped garden at a historic home in Chula Vista, September 6, from 6 to 9pm. Jay Gatsby would approve: it's the 1920s and we've got live authentic music with the Gordon Cole Trio, plus two patios for dancing. Bring your picnic basket, goodies and a blanket to sit on (or bring your vintage extreme picnic gear: it's up to you). It'll be the bees knees for sure.

Only $10 per person. And don't forget that cloche hat and straw boater (1920s sports or daywear encouraged).
