Help celebrate 10 Years of historic ballroom dancing with the San Diego Vintage Dancers, as we pull out the stops for our Weekend Workshop with the terrific Joan Walton, April 26-27. Joan has over 20 years experience in vintage dance, teaching all over the world. A professional dancer and choreographer, she's one of the best instructors in historic dance. Located now in San Jose, this is one of her rare appearances in Southern California. Starting Saturday, we'll have 8 hours (4 each day) of fabulous dance classes, all levels, featuring late 19th and early 20th Century dances, including Waltz, Charleston, Blues, Toddle, Tango, Java & One-Step--all the classics. Classes will be held on professional dance floors at The Dance Place in Point Loma at the former NTC. Great Saturday lunch lecture on Men's vintage clothing by Walter Nelson.
Bonus class Friday night April 25 in Balboa Park.

Saurday night we have a 1920s-30s bistro evening featuring the French-inspired music of the Gordon Cole Quartet. Our venue for the evening dance is a knock-your-socks-off 'secret location' of unbelievable uniqueness, just perfect to help us celebrate in the SDVD style.

Sunday evening will be a rapturous 3-course dinner & dance at the fabulous 1915 era Prado Ballroom in historic Balboa Park. The Prado serves some of the best food in a city known for excellent cuisine. Music will be provided by the incredible 10 member Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra under the direction of Bruce Vermazen, playing authentic music of the ragtime era.

Package Price, all inclusive is only $120! Classes only , Sat eve and Sun eve available separately (first come-first serve) if Packages not sold out. Singles welcome. Student Prices for Classes & Sat eve only.
