Search our expensive collection Other Search Options This is a demonstration of some tools and methods you can use to facilitate access to the EOS.Web OPAC library catalog system from any web page and, with a few tweaks, many other SQL based online databases. The HTML driven web form accesses the EOS Sales Department demonstration catalog. The elements were extracted from EOS documentation on how to build a URL based search string. By pointing this form at your own database, and changing the names and the values, you can create your own customized search boxes. The "Newly Added Content" uses a freeware application called "Feed2JS" to display the "New Accessions" RSS feed from the EOS sales catalog. This application can be used to turn any RSS feed into web content. The content on this page is provided free of charge by Walter Nelson under a Creative Commons license. |
