Second Sunday Culver City English Country Dance NEW TIME!

It’s our first dance of 2019! Guest caller Gary Shapiro, from Santa Barbara, calls to live music by Split Peas (Patty McCollum, whistles; David James, guitar; and Linda Kodaira, violin). Gary will also review several dances from the Santa Barbara Winter Dreams ball. Please note our new time for 2019: 2 to 5 p.m.

Join us every Second and Fourth Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. (starting January 13, 2019)
Lindberg Park Stone House, 5041 Rhoda Way in Culver City (on the corner of Rhoda and Ocean Drive).

The Historical Tea & Dance Society presents its Jane Austen Tea Dance Social; Beginners welcome; No partner needed; Afternoon tea

Dance instruction and practice. Tea and comestibles will be served. Costume not required. Beginners welcome. No partner required. Admission $20.

Main dance starts at 1:30.
Dance class starts at 12:30 for an extra $5.

Parking on Fair Oaks in front of building is one hour only.
You may choose to drop off guests with any tea time items in front or back of building.

Our program will consist primarily of longways "country" dances as well as a few cotillions (the predecessor of quadrilles). With dances of various skill levels throughout the evening, there is sure to be something for beginners and experienced dancers alike.
