1940s Swing Dance in Morongo Valley

Rattlesnake Jake's in Morongo Valley will feature another Swing Night with Swing Dancing and Ballroom Dancing from 6 pm to 9pm. Cover charge is $5 and there is no age limit. Currently the ages of the dancers range from 16 to 70 years old.

You can enjoy dinner or take part in a lesson in THE SHIM SHAM, a swing era line dance, taught by Christopher Perry at 6:00 pm. Then, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm enjoy dining and dancing with vintage Big Band music and rare World War 2 V-Discs by Music Historian "Dr. Swing". You do not need to bring a partner to participate in the dance lesson. Dance partners are rotated throughout the lesson.

The music will provide for East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop and Ballroom dancing.

A lesson in the Charleston will also be taught during the evening.

Vintage Retro attire is encouraged at these events. Anyone wearing an authentic style "Zoot Suit" gets in free.

There is a cover charge of $5 which includes a dance lesson, music and dancing. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME.
