It is Christmas Eve in 1918 and Alma Whitaker is missing. Bertram & Bloom, Private Inquiry Agents are on the case and hope to have the case wrapped up before Christmas morning.

Step back into early Los Angeles and experience the holidays 1918-style at Heritage Square Museums popular Lamplight Celebration Tours on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, 2018.

FREE: Experience the beautiful Banning Museum's Annual Victorian Christmas Celebration on Saturday Dec. 1 and Sunday Dec. 2, 2018, from 11am - 4pm. Tour the splendidly decorated 1864 Mansion; join in 19th-c & Turn-Of-The-Century Audience Participation vintage dances with Yesteryears Dancers; ride the Horse Trolley to the Civil War Drum Barracks; enjoy cookies and cider; pose with Santa Claus and his Missus Claus in a sleigh on the front lawn; plus a Blacksmith to visit, Children's Old-Fashioned Activities, and Quaint Gift Shop items and Vendors offering gifts and food for sale.

San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park

The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, General Kearny's US forces engaged a small contingent of Californios and their Presidial Lancers, led by Capt. Leonardo Cota; eventually joined by Major Andrés Pico.

Join the Lanterman House Foundation for dance lessons in the Lanterman House ballroom, the perfect venue to dance through time. From the 1890s, the 1910s, and the 1920s, these lessons will take you through the decades of dance popular with the Lanterman family. Period attire welcome, but not required.
