Don your bustles and bowler hats and join the Los Encinos Docent Association and California State Parks for a civilized Victorian afternoon in an historic park.

The event is free. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to come in Victorian/Old West attire (especially the fashions of the 1870s & '80s). Kids are welcome to this public event.

Historical picnics, with all the trimmings, are particularly encouraged.

Our blacksmith will be in attendance, we will have music, a snake oil salesman and more.

Danse Macabre Masked Ball comes to Pasadena!

Join us for a costumed masked ball filled with hauntingly fun historical dance and music all themed for Halloween! Our hall will be decorated celebrating the season and there will be many surprises in store. If you like our Alice in Wonderland Tea Dance you will love what we do with Halloween!

Featuring Darlene Hamilton and the musical hijinks of the wonderful Whirled Peas band in a one-of-a-kind Halloween historical dance evening!

Doors open at 6:30pm. Dancing starts at 7pm.

Social dancing in the English Country Dance style as danced from the Renaissance to the Regency.
