Colonial Dance featuring featuring the social dances that were popular in this country from 1730 to 1799. Our program will consist primarily of longways "country" dances as well as a few cotillions (the predecessor of quadrilles). With dances of various skill levels throughout the evening, there is sure to be something for beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Beginner-friendly / Bringing a partner is not required / Historical attire is optional

A dance lesson, covering waltzes, polkas, and set dances like the Spanish Waltz and El Coyote, will be followed by two sets of live music and dancing. Walter Nelson will emcee.
