Colonial Dance featuring featuring the social dances that were popular in this country from 1730 to 1799. Our program will consist primarily of longways "country" dances as well as a few cotillions (the predecessor of quadrilles). With dances of various skill levels throughout the evening, there is sure to be something for beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Beginner-friendly / Bringing a partner is not required / Historical attire is optional

$5 payable at the door

“If music be the food of love, play on!” Enjoy a day of music, drama, comedy, and romance in celebration of William Shakespeare’s birthday month on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Performers from LA Opera and the The Guild of St. George, Inc. will perform scenes and songs from some of the Bard’s most beloved plays in locations throughout the Huntington grounds. Get into the act with some family-friendly craft activities. Performances are ongoing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
