During the January installment of Flavors, try food of the Western trail and traditional chuck wagon cuisine, then taste a new fusion as contemporary chefs update the menu with Pacific flair.

Tickets include plates from multiple food stations, access to the galleries and garden, and presentations by chefs and food history experts.

Monthly waltz practice at Simi Valley. Dancers in both Victorian and Modern styles now have the opportunity to practice their Waltz and Polka in an open, relaxed setting. This practice opportunity is offered by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.

The Museums Free-for-All is back: This year the special day for free admission to dozens of Southern California institutions is set for Jan. 28.

The goal is to get the public into museums and galleries so people can see the kinds of fine offerings on display all year round. The event is organized by a group called SoCal Museums, composed of representatives from museums across the Los Angeles region.

Featuring over 65 vendors from across California who will bring a range of vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, and inspiration.
