Rattlesnake Jake's in Morongo Valley will feature another Swing Night with Swing Dancing and Ballroom Dancing from 6 pm to 9pm. Cover charge is $5 and there is no age limit. Currently the ages of the dancers range from 16 to 70 years old.

Join our traveling speaker series at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium to hear about the U.S. Balloon Corp of the American Civil War that is considered the forerunner of today’s Air Force and paved the way for our nation’s future in the sky. Steven and Patrice Demory, as Professor and Leontine Loew, will present “Thaddeus Lowe and the U.S. Balloon Corps.” They will also cover the Lowe’s post-war lives, including their residency in Pasadena, the building of the Mt. Lowe Railway and their experiences at the 1910 Air Meet.
