Come and learn Regency and Victorian Dance the 2nd Friday of the month at Varieties International, corner of 17th and Ocean Park in Santa Monica from 7 to 10 PM.

Every month there will be new dances with introduction to the history and etiquette of the 19th Century Ballroom. You do not need a partner to participate.

Beginners to advance dancers welcome.

Period dress is welcome but not required.

Young Artists Symphony will hold a Viennese Ball Tea Dance at the Scottish Rite Hall in Mission Valley on Dec. 13, 2009, from 2 to 5 p.m. The 70 piece Symphony will play all of the favorite waltzes and polkas that we all have grown to love,.... at a danceable tempo.

This event is a fund raiser for scholarships for the Young Artists Symphony and all of the training ensembles.

The Victorian Tea & Dance Society presents its monthly Sunday Afternoon Victorian Dance Social. Dance instruction and practice in the Victorian style. Tea and comestibles will be served during a brief talk on a topic of interest to the Victorian dancer. Costume not required. Beginners welcome.
